Eddie the Electrician – MDE’s Safety Champion. Eddie has had a very busy summer out and about with the MDE Field Team driving a positive safety culture across the business. In July, Eddie’s focus was Technical Safety with our Smart Meter Installation Team.

We are proud of our safe drivers. Thank you for ensuring we fulfil our most important company objective – getting everyone home safely to their families at the end of the working day.

MDE Health & Wellbeing Initiative – Individual Desk plants. In the run up to Mental Health Awareness Week and part of our ongoing employee wellness campaign, MDE are contributing to the well-being of our staff, and the environment at large, by gifting each employee with an individual desk plant which will help:

MDE’s Safety Champion. MDE are excited to launch Eddie’s the Electrician’s Safety Campaign which encourages and inspires MDE staff to make positive changes that help create and maintain a safe and healthy workplace and home environment.

MDE are delighted to have recently received the ‘Thank You’ letter from SVDP for our Team’s Christmas 2020 donations. In unprecedented times, we are proud of our MDE Team helping out our local communities.

We extend a huge welcome back to our MDE Team after a few weeks of stand still due to COVID 19. As always, the welfare of our staff is extremely important to us. We have gifted all our returning employees with a Welcome Back Pack and a custom-designed MDE flask.

During the weeks of standstill, MDE is running an educational initiative that helps ‘Inspire the Next Generation of Electricians.’ Our Electrical Engineers are building simple electrical circuits with their sons, daughters, nieces, and nephews at home with household materials.

MDE is delighted to open Our New Centre Of Excellence Training Academy in Monaghan. This facility aims to support our Electrical Installers to achieve excellence through quality, scenario-based training. Our training courses come with full support from our dedicated team of trainers.

MDE is really looking forward to exhibiting at The Commuter Jobs Expo in City North Hotel on 13th February 2020. Come and visit our stand from 2-8 pm to find out about our exciting opportunities for Qualified Electricians.

MDE Monaghan Office was delighted to hold our official opening ceremony for our Monaghan Office on Friday 30th August 2019.  It was a day of great celebration for all of our staff and an opportunity to reflect on the progress made over the past year. 

MDE are delighted to be invited to speak at the National Employer Roadshow at the Ballymascanlon House Hotel, Dundalk in conjunction with the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection. Michelle Shambley – MDE’s Talent and Culture Manager spoke succinctly about Intreo’s Employer Services and Supports.

MDE would like to offer a very warm welcome to the newest member of the Monaghan Team.  Stephen Mackie joined us this week as our Warehouse Manager and brings a wealth of experience from roles across Ireland & South Africa!
