MDE Installations played a pivotal role in the execution of an extensive deep refurbishment and expansion of Sligo Institute of Technology. We were appointed as the Electrical Contractor in the execution of this project, which involved an extensive deep refurbishment and expansion of the existing Block L to accommodate facilities for the Faculty of Engineering & Design, YAADA Department (Yeats Academy of Arts Design and Architecture). The existing building underwent a complete element replacement during the refurbishment. The works included electrical services installation, electrical distribution containment, power distribution, PV Panels, power and general services, wiring for mechanical services, lighting, emergency lighting, data and communications wiring, fire alarm systems, EV car chargers, security, and protective services.
