The role
We are now seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to play a key role in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our IT infrastructure, systems, and digital capabilities as the company continues to grow.

About you
- Experienced IT Engineer / Lead IT Engineer
- Strong Microsoft 365 Windows Server knowledge
- Experience with implementing & maintaining Job Management and CRM systems.
- Understanding of ISO 27001 and compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of operating cloud-based technologies.
- Experience with Power Automate
- Knowledge of Mobile / handheld device integration with CRM and other platforms / systems.
- Experience in a Construction / Power / Engineering / Telecoms environment (Desirable)
- Telecoms & VOIP experience, perhaps gained in a Contact Centre environment (Desirable)
- Full UK driving licence.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and monitoring of IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems.
- Involvement with the roll out of upgrades, migrations, and new system rollouts.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards, maintaining security policies, risk assessments, and documentation.
- Supporting the implementation of automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and similar tools to optimize IT operations and support digital transformation initiatives.
- Assisting with the development and training of cybersecurity and IT best practices
- Supporting with ERP lifecycle projects, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
- Working within IT budgets, and building good supplier relationships
- Monitoring system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Supporting with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Providing hands on support and deal with complex technical issues.
- Providing guidance where required to junior staff
- Collaborating with the senior team to ensure business objectives are being met through the IT strategy.
