We are looking for an experienced and hands on IT Manager to lead our technology function and support the continued growth of our business.
The Role:
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in leading IT teams, delivering complex system integrations, and implementing secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. A strong understanding of ISO 27001 compliance is essential, along with expertise in cloud-based technologies, mobile device integration, and VOIP/telecoms systems. Demonstrated experience with process automation, particularly using Microsoft Power Automate or similar tools is highly valued, supporting the drive for operational efficiency and digital transformation. Location: Fully office based role from our Monaghan Office. (with occasional travel required to our Omagh site)
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support the IT team to deliver high-quality technical services across the business.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems.
- Lead IT projects from design to implementation, including upgrades, migrations, and new system rollouts.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards, maintaining security policies, risk assessments, and documentation.
- Lead the design and implementation of automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and similar tools to optimize IT operations and support digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams through full ERP lifecycle projects, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, and supplier relationships to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and deliver staff training on cybersecurity and IT best practices.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Provide hands-on support when required and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with senior management to align IT strategy with business objectives.
About you:
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar leadership role.
- Educated up to Degree level
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or M365 certifications
- 5 years’ experience in a lead role; Managing IT Training, Infrastructure, Telecoms, Cybersecurity, M365 applications and services
- Experience implementing & maintaining Job Management and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of operating cloud-based technologies.
- Telecoms & VOIP experience, perhaps gained in a Contact Centre environment (Desirable)
- SAP Integration experience.
- Mobile / handheld device integration with CRM and other platforms / systems.
- In-depth understanding of ISO 27001 and experience managing compliance frameworks.
- Full UK Drivers Licence
