HR Administrator

We are seeking a HR Administrator to join our team!

Location:

Monaghan, full-time office based. Easily commutable from bordering County Tyrone towns.

The Role:

You will provide a key support role within the HR function supporting the HR team with maintaining accurate records across all HR systems, recruitment coordination and training administration.

In this role you will support the HR Officer in ensuring compliance and organisation in all HR matters across both site and office operations. You’ll gain valuable hand on experience with opportunities for career development and excellent training opportunities!

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update HRIS / internal systems with employee data (contracts, changes, absences, training, disciplinary records).
  • Ensure personnel files are accurate, complete, and GDPR compliant (paper and digital).
  • Generate regular HR reports (headcount, turnover, training stats, etc.).
  • Support time and attendance processes, holiday tracking, and absence reporting.
  • Assist with audits, health and safety paperwork, and compliance tracking as needed.
  • Maintain training matrix and ensure employee certifications (e.g. Safe Pass, Manual Handling, MEWP, electrical tickets) are up to date.
  • Book internal and external training courses, keeping accurate records of attendance and renewals.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including drafting job ads, posting vacancies, screening CVs, arranging interviews, and issuing offer letters.
  • Organise pre-employment checks (right to work, qualifications, references, etc.).
  • Prepare new starter documentation and contracts in line with company templates.
  • Set up employee records and coordinate inductions for site and office staff.
