About:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role will focus primarily on electrical works, but will also cover full building packages across Data Centre, Healthcare, and Hospitality projects. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of quantity surveying responsibilities, working both on-site and in-office to support project delivery and cost management.
The Role:
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will assist in preparing and submitting valuations, tracking project variations, and managing budgets. You’ll work closely with project teams to assess subcontractor submissions, track progress, manage costs, and support value engineering efforts. This is a hands-on role offering a solid foundation in all aspects of quantity surveying within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
Degree-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit monthly valuations
Take off electrical works and support full building packages
Track, monitor, and submit project variations with substantiation
Build variation backup using drawing changes
Manage and present project budgets
Produce cost reports comparing actuals vs tender values
Prepare tender packs and assess subcontractor submissions
Monitor weekly site progress reports
Track and present contractual delay claims
Implement cost control strategies
Oversee and value subcontractor payments
Propose and support value engineering options
Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project for reporting and planning
Essential requirements:
Strong multi-tasking abilities with a proactive mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of numeracy and IT literacy
Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Full driver’s licence
Desirable requirements:
1 year of experience in a similar role (not essential)
