We are now seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality, competitive bids and estimates.
The Role:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will lead the estimating department, working closely with the Contracts Managers and Procurement Team. You will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive tenders, assessing commercial and technical risks, conducting site visits, and presenting design plans using AutoCAD and Revit. The role also includes fostering client relationships and contributing to O&M manual development.

Qualifications:
3rd level education in Electrical Engineering, Estimating, or a related field
Responsibilities:
Manage the Estimating Department
Collaborate with Contracts Managers and the Procurement Team
Prepare and present design plans using AutoCAD and Revit
Manage tender enquiries with attention to both commercial and technical detail
Assess and mitigate project risks while providing bid support
Conduct site visits to review tender requirements
Build and maintain industry and client relationships
Assist in the creation of O&M Manuals
Essential requirements:
Background in Electrical Engineering, Estimating, or a related discipline
Experience using Trimble estimating and costing systems
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
Strong negotiation and decision-making capabilities
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Desirable requirements:
Prior experience in an estimating leadership role
