Apprentice Electrician

Title:
2nd & 3rd Year Apprentices – Electrical (Rathcoole & Clondalkin, Dublin)

About:
MDE Installations Ltd are currently seeking motivated and committed 2nd and 3rd year apprentices to join our expanding team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical site experience, develop your trade skills, and work with a supportive, experienced team across a range of exciting projects.

The Role:
As a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice, you will work alongside qualified professionals, gaining hands-on experience across multiple projects. You’ll be expected to follow safety procedures, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and continue developing the core skills of your chosen trade.

Location:
Dublin – Rathcoole & Clondalkin

Hours of work:
Full-time

Qualifications:

• Registered as a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice (Electrical or relevant trade)

• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified tradespeople with installation and maintenance tasks

• Follow all site safety protocols and instructions

• Work efficiently and responsibly as part of a site team

• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

• Attend training sessions and complete apprenticeship milestones

• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members

Essential requirements:

• Registered 2nd or 3rd year apprentice

• Understanding of basic site safety procedures

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Own tools and transport preferred

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience on construction or electrical sites

• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications
