Inspiring the Next Generation of Electricians

Inspiring the Next Generation of Electricians

During the weeks of standstill, MDE is running an educational initiative that helps ‘Inspire the Next Generation of Electricians.’

Our Electrical Engineers are building simple electrical circuits with their sons, daughters, nieces, and nephews at home with household materials.

A fun experiment which passes the time whilst also inspiring our children to think about pursuing a career as an Electrician.

8-year-old Gerard McBride from Kells, Co Meath built this super circuit with the support of his Dad Pearse Mc Bride. Pearse and Gerard used an old set of Christmas lights to make the circuit.

Pearse explains how Gerard was ‘proud as punch’ when he flicked the switch. “It works!” he said.

Well done to Gerard and Pearse for their hard work.

Safe T Cert – MILESTONE ACHIEVEMENT

Safe T Cert

MDE has secured a Grade A certification in the Safe T Cert for the 5th year running. A special word of thanks to Geraldine Bradley for her tremendous efforts in leading the company through this Certification.

In an ever-changing industry with increasingly challenging projects, we at MDE Installations Ltd regard Health & Safety as our number one priority both on & off of the site. For this reason, we see great benefits in working towards the Safe T Cert (Grade A) every year, as a means of both continuous assessment & improvement.

It is also of great benefit in assuring our clients & employees that we are fully intent in operating a safe working environment & ultimately in keeping Health & Safety to the fore.

Comments from Assessor, ” The company continues to manage health and safety in a highly efficient manner. Accreditation is maintained at the top level of “A”. The company was offered and accepted a new certification.”
