Safe-T-Cert Achievement (Grade A)

We are extremely proud to announce that our Health & Safety Management System, Safe-T-Cert has been accredited by the Construction Employers Federation in February 2018 and that we have maintained the highest possible grade (Grade A) for a third year running.

Safe-T-Cert Commitment
This grade demonstrates MDE’s long term commitment to ensuring the paramount safety of all our employees and that of any third parties that may be effected by our work practices.

The Safe-T-Cert accreditation which MDE has adopted, covers a wide variety of policies and procedures including a Training Matrix, Inductions, Toolbox Talks/Discussions, Site Rules, Emergency Procedures, PPE, PAT, Accident Reporting, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and many more.

The Health, Safety and Welfare of all our employees is at the forefront of MDE’s priorities and we believe that with the right attitude, positive culture and sufficient training, all work practices can be completed in a safe manner without the occurrence of injuries.

MDE has a ‘zero tolerance’ for poor safety and dangerous work practices.  This is validated by regular and robust audits on all our sites to ensure standards are being maintained at all times. The commitment and dedication that senior management have towards Health and Safety has contributed to low accident statistics throughout the years.

MDE are proud to confirm that in the 20 years of operation, we have never experienced a serious accident, which is a great achievement for a company that is involved in the electrical industry.

Our latest audit, dated February 2018 stated ‘The company continues to manage health and safety in an highly efficient manner. Accreditation is maintained at the top level of ‘A’.
