Portsmouth Limberline Project

The Limberline Spur development by Portsmouth City Council comprises 21 business units and a restaurant on the old AE Hadley shopfitters’ site in Portsmouth.

The shopfitters’ site was an old facility that has come to the end of its usable life, closing in 2014.

MDE were awarded the design and install of building services and life safety systems for the Limberline Spur development which was hailed as a boost in providing units for local small businesses.

The buildings were subdivided into individual units, varying in size from 441 sq ft to 2,820 sq ft, providing affordable workspaces to rent by small and new businesses.

Our excellent site workmanship and expertise contributed to this prestigious project being awarded Silver at the Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Award 2017.
