The Scottish Provident building is a superior collection of serviced offices and meeting rooms located adjacent to Belfast City Hall. MDE Works carried out throughout this listed building included a full fire alarm rewire, office space, and conference room refurbishment. Electrical works included: general and emergency lighting; power; data; door access; CCTV and fire alarm. Offices remained partially occupied during the works, as did the other floors sharing the building. The office tenants consisted mainly of law firms and legal practices. Strict procedures were set in place to minimise disruption throughout with phased programming and decanting arrangements. Existing data networks and telephones were relocated and temporarily commissioned while work was ongoing.
