Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all client and external stock as it is received and report faulty or damaged stock to the supplier in a timely manner.
  • Log stock on to stock management
  • Liaise with drivers and field team to ensure that installers have adequate stock levels at all
  • Supervision of small team of Warehouse Operatives/Drivers including but not limited to
    • Absence and time
    • Performance
    • Approval and scheduling of
    • Support in training and progression for team
    • The first point of contact for team
  • Place orders for new stock in a timely manner to ensure that the warehouse remains adequately stocked.
  • Carry out regular stock
  • Unloading of
  • Attendance at weekly/monthly
  • Reporting weekly/monthly as required internally and to the client/s.
  • Liaising with the client/s.
  • Management of departmental budget and attendance at monthly budget
  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager/Scheduling Team regarding work schedules and schedule work for the delivery drivers in accordance with these schedules.
  • Uphold all Safety, Cleanliness and Environmental standards as directed by the
  • Lead the way in terms of best practice regarding safety and ensure that your team understand the importance of safety in the workplace.
  • Hold regular team briefings/Toolbox Talks with
  • Complete all mandatory
  • Flexibility within the role when scope or prioritisation changes are made or
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required from time to time relevant to your


  • Third level education in a relevant field is desirable but not



  • A minimum of 3 years’ recent practical experience of managing a busy warehouse or
  • Strong people management
  • Process Improvement Experience (Lean, Six Sigma) would be

  • Full clean drivers licence
