MDE continue to be one of the first electrical engineering companies to become certified to the new international Quality Management Standard ISO9001:2015 and the Environmental Management Standard ISO14001:2015.
An independent assessment was conducted by the leading Certification Body (SGS UK Ltd) which firmly established MDE Ltd as a leading player in its field for customer service, quality and environmental awareness. As a result of which, MDE were awarded a ‘high standard’ of implementation for both accreditations.
MDE Ltd have achieved these standards by combining a process approach with risk-based thinking, employing a Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle at all levels in the organisation and by showing comprehensive leadership by embedding quality and environmental performance into all aspects of our everyday services.
These ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 standards highlights MDE’s commitment to continuously implement improvements and to ensure consistency, assuring our clients and customers of our highest level of performance, satisfaction and our ability to step up to meet the demands of modern industrial requirements throughout all our work practices.
We have been working hard over the past few months on our new website and today we are delighted to launch the new MDE Installations website.
One of the major updates in our new design was to create a mobile friendly website.
We take pride in the work we do, take a look at some of our latest projects.
We are extremely proud to announce that our Health & Safety Management System, Safe-T-Cert has been accredited by the Construction Employers Federation in February 2018 and that we have maintained the highest possible grade (Grade A) for a third year running.
This grade demonstrates MDE’s long term commitment to ensuring the paramount safety of all our employees and that of any third parties that may be effected by our work practices.
The Safe-T-Cert accreditation which MDE has adopted, covers a wide variety of policies and procedures including a Training Matrix, Inductions, Toolbox Talks/Discussions, Site Rules, Emergency Procedures, PPE, PAT, Accident Reporting, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and many more.
The Health, Safety and Welfare of all our employees is at the forefront of MDE’s priorities and we believe that with the right attitude, positive culture and sufficient training, all work practices can be completed in a safe manner without the occurrence of injuries.
MDE has a ‘zero tolerance’ for poor safety and dangerous work practices. This is validated by regular and robust audits on all our sites to ensure standards are being maintained at all times. The commitment and dedication that senior management have towards Health and Safety has contributed to low accident statistics throughout the years.
MDE are proud to confirm that in the 20 years of operation, we have never experienced a serious accident, which is a great achievement for a company that is involved in the electrical industry.
Our latest audit, dated February 2018 stated ‘The company continues to manage health and safety in an highly efficient manner. Accreditation is maintained at the top level of ‘A’.
MDE has achieved 425,750 man-hours within the last 3 years without lost time injury over a various range of complex construction sites.
This accomplishment demonstrates the MDE Team’s working ability. Each and every employee across the sites and offices, takes full responsibility for their own safety and that of others, whilst ensuring that the highest standards of occupational health and safety management is implemented throughout all work practices.
MDE are committed to operating with foresight and with a safety conscious mind-set at all times.
MDE believe that in highlighting this excellent achievement, it gives all of MDE’s personnel a feeling of great accomplishment, pride and sustained motivation to lead by example as we continue to develop the company for the future.
