The overall responsibility of this position will be to manage and procure the purchase of all materials to store and to various sites throughout Ireland and the UK.


  • Negotiate and obtain competitive quotations and deliveries for all aspects of a project including identifying potential new suppliers and products whilst securing best value for the company.
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager and Estimator to ensure timely and cost effective solutions are in place to meet the demands of the contract programmes.
  • Assess the reliability of suppliers, deal effectively with challenges of suppliers and the flow of materials.
  • Initiate and manage process developments to improve stock accuracy.
  • Hiring and off-hiring various plant items as required.
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure paperwork is accurate.
  • Receive and check incoming/outgoing goods.
  • Store or arrange goods to be delivered to site.
  • Responsible for procurement/buying and supplier agreements

Personnel Profile:-

  • The ideal candidate will be required to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in buying
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical products is essential
  • Have excellent computer skills including Word and Excel.

This is a responsible role which will command a salary reflective of the position.




Job Description:

We are currently recruiting Electricians (17th Edition) to carry out Electrical Meter Installations throughout Northern Ireland on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract. Immediate start. Training and transport will be provided.

Engineers required for Tyrone, Armagh and Down areas

Qualifications and Experience:
– Time served Electrician
– 17th Edition Qualified
– Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
– Hold a valid full UK Driving License

Desirable Criteria:
– Must be self-motivated and highly organised
– Have excellent customer interaction skills
– Be of smart appearance
– Carry out a range of duties to meet appointments and performance as required.
– Participate in specific training for installations of the meters.
– Adhere to strict Health & Safety requirements
– Be available to work outside normal work pattern hours should it be necessary.



This is a full time post. Salary and benefits are depending on experience.

Essential Criteria:
• Industry recognised qualifications – City & Guilds 17th Edition.
• Time served electrician with 5+ years’ experience post qualification.
• Proven record of delivering electrical projects especially within the retail sector.
• Good understanding and interpretation of schematic drawings.
• Hold a valid driving licence.

Desirable Criteria
• Hold a CSCS/ECS Supervisors card.
• First Aider Certificate.
• Working at Height Certificate.
• Manual Handling Certificate.
• Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) Certificate/Card
• IT skills – basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
