Ballinrees Water Treatment Works

Ballinrees is one of the Project Alpha Water Treatment PPP scheme for Northern Ireland Water Service and is also part of the first UK PPP project to address the supply of potable water to homes, overall value £6m.
The existing Water Treatment Works at Ballinrees was upgraded to a new, fully refurbished 30Ml/day facility with extended treatment operations. MD Electrical Installations carried out contract works on an existing live site coupled with complete building services installation. Project completed on time and within budget.
